What Holding Space Is
Holding Space is a 6-week virtual support group for young people (ages 16–24) navigating any form of loss. Facilitated by a licensed mental health professional and Thrive Strategist, this group is designed for young people who are grieving, whether that loss comes from death, separation, incarceration, estrangement, or another life change. This is a calm, judgment-free space to show up exactly as you are to share, listen, or simply be present. You don’t need to have the “right” words. Listening is participation. Showing up quietly is still showing up.

Interest Form
To ensure this space feels intimate and supportive, Holding Space will begin once 8–10 participants have expressed interest. Once the group is confirmed, all interested participants (and guardians, when applicable) will receive full details, including the start date, meeting schedule, and next steps.
Support Healing Through Community
Holding Space is donation-based to keep it accessible for young people who may not otherwise have support. Donations help cover facilitation by licensed professionals and allow Mirkat Impact to continue offering programs rooted in care, dignity, and community. Giving is optional and deeply appreciated at any stage.
