We are the Teacher’s Assistant (TA) and third space that life forgot to give by building the blueprint for youth ages 13–24 to discover who they are and where they are going. Serving the South Suburbs of the Chicagoland area.

Who We are

Our organization fosters a community where individuals can thrive, intentional deaths are eliminated, and every person actively shapes the life they envision. We create the bridge between emotional support and tangible skill development, particularly for those navigating grief, identity, and the pressures of emerging adulthood. Through grief support groups, life skills workshops, a pathway discovery program, and community events, Mirkat creates spaces where young people feel seen, supported, and activated.

Our Process

  • Interest Form & Short Call: Fill out an interest form & book a short call with us, so we can discuss goals and alignment for a custom sponsorship package built for you.

  • Custom Proposal: Based on our call, we'll design a partnership that serves your goals, whether that means one event, a speaking moment, or a behind-the-scenes donation.

  • Delivery & Reporting: Once confirmed, we fulfill every commitment and follow up with a post-event report, so you can see the impact your sponsorship contributed towards.

2026 pROGRAMMING & eVENTS

  • FIELD DAY

    Friendly competition, teamwork, and energy. Field Day builds camaraderie while developing the kind of leadership skills you can't teach from a textbook. Bring your team out to volunteer, sponsor activities, or supply equipment and prizes.

  • FALL FESTIVAL

    An autumn celebration of community, culture, and connection. Vendors, activities, and good energy all centered around young people and the village supporting them. Sponsorship can include vendor space, activity ownership, or full event presenting rights.

  • WARM BLESSINGS DRIVE

    A seasonal drive providing coats, clothing, and essentials to youth and families in need. In-kind donations are as welcome as financial ones.

  • ENTREPRENEURSHIP INTENSIVE

    Youth develop business concepts, present to judges, and walk away with skills to launch their ideas. Sponsors can fund prize money, serve as mentors, or present their brand to the next generation of business owners.

  • SUICIDE PREVENTION WALK/RUN

    A powerful community walk/run honoring those we've lost and standing alongside those still fighting. This event invites open conversation, healing, and hope. Ideal for healthcare organizations, mental health advocates, or any brand committed to community wellbeing.

  • R&B POETRY WORKSHOP

    The soulful vibes of R&B with the emotional depth of writing poetry. Sponsorship can include a venue, in-kind donations, and writing incentives.
