A movement that believes in the transformative power of partnering with youth to break through barriers, build confidence, and become leaders in their communities. Youth leadership board
Some young people grow up being told they’re “too much,” “too quiet,” or “not ready.” We see something different. We see potential. We see leadership. We see a generation ready to change their communities in real time.
The Mirkat Youth Leadership Board was created for young people who want to grow, give back, and be part of something bigger. If you’ve ever felt unseen or unsure of where you fit, this is your space to discover who you are and what you’re capable of.
We welcome youth who are ages 13-22 and living in Chicago or surrounding suburbs.
